Welcome to The Clothing Library, your one-stop shop for second-hand fashion choices! We are a socially responsible clothing swapping company that promotes a more environmentally-friendly approach to fashion by offering preloved clothing.

We understand the impact of fashion on the environment and the world we live in. Every year, the fashion industry contributes significantly to pollution and waste, from the chemicals used to produce clothes to the carbon footprint of transporting them around the world. By offering a preloved clothing swap marketplace, we are helping to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills.

At The Clothing Library, we curate a collection of preloved clothing that is carefully selected and thoroughly inspected to ensure quality and cleanliness. Our collection includes clothing items for all occasions, including formal wear, casual wear, and activewear. We also offer a variety of sizes and styles, so there is something for everyone.

Our swapping service is perfect for those who want to try out a new style or outfit without committing to a purchase. Swapping clothes not only saves you money but also reduces the need for producing new clothes and reduces waste.

We believe that everyone can make a positive impact on the environment, and we are proud to be a part of that change. Join us in our mission to reduce waste and promote sustainable fashion choices. Swap with us today, and together we can make a difference!

The Founder

Milagros de Souza, Founder

The Clothing Library was founded by Mila, a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion and a firm believer in the power of the circular economy. Mila’s journey to founding The Clothing Library began with her realization of the devastating environmental impact of the fashion industry. As a fashion enthusiast, she was shocked by the waste and pollution that the industry was producing, and she knew that she had to do something to make a difference.

Mila’s commitment to sustainability led her to research and explore different solutions to the problem. She discovered the concept of preloved clothing and realized the potential of these ideas to reduce waste and promote sustainable fashion choices. She founded The Clothing Library to provide a platform where people could access preloved clothing while also contributing to the environment's preservation.

Mila’s vision for The Clothing Library is to make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone, regardless of their budget or lifestyle. She believes that everyone can make a difference and that small actions can have a significant impact. She is passionate about educating people on the importance of sustainability in fashion and inspiring them to make more environmentally-friendly choices.

Mila’s leadership and dedication have been instrumental in making The Clothing Library a success. Her passion for sustainability has inspired the team to work towards the common goal of reducing waste and promoting sustainable fashion choices. She is constantly exploring new ideas and solutions to make The Clothing Library a leader in sustainable fashion and a force for positive change in the industry.

In short, Mila’s vision and leadership have made The Clothing Library what it is today – a socially responsible clothing brand that offers sustainable fashion choices and promotes environmental awareness. Her dedication to sustainability and passion for fashion are the driving forces behind The Clothing Library's mission to make a positive impact on the world.

Step 1: Upload

Add the pieces you no longer wear — the jeans that deserve another spin, the dress that’s too good for the back of your closet. Upload your items in just a few clicks, tell us their size and vibe, and earn Closet Credits when they’re approved. Every upload helps keep fashion in circulation (and your closet feeling brand new).

Step 2: Browse

Use your Closet Credits to explore the community closet — a mix of styles from other members, local thrift lovers, and curated drops from partner stores. Whether you’re after something vintage, minimalist, or totally unexpected, browsing is your moment to discover what’s next for your wardrobe.

Step 3: Swap

When you find something you love, use your Closet Credits to swap for it. You’ll just cover the Swap Support Fee and shipping — the rest is on us. Once confirmed, the item’s on its way and your old piece is off to its new home. Easy, affordable, and circular.
